Hotel Capital, LLC, a hotel focused private equity investment firm, announces the new hire of Gina Payne, Vice President of Asset Management, effective immediately.

Payne comes to Hotel Capital from Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where she served most recently as Hotel Planning & Analysis Equity Asset Manager. She brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic partnerships and operations, sales and marketing, product development, revenue management and cost controls. Prior to Equity Asset Management, she served as a Profit Improvement Manager for the Chicago based corporate headquarters of Hyatt.

In her role at Hotel Capital, LLC, Payne will bring her extensive hospitality experience to the Asset Management team, adding a unique combination of diverse operational experience, superior motivational skills, and skilled analytics. “Gina brings energy, experience, and unique perspective to our business, and we are thrilled to have her join the team,” says Principal Michael Collier. “Gina is an incredibly talented executive with the rare ability to deeply understand how to manage employees, customers, and financials thereby creating optimal results for owners and investors. As Vice President of Asset Management, Gina will work to ensure Hotel Capital’s joint venture and company owned assets operate above industry standards” says Collier.

Payne will be spending her time in the corporate office, managing joint venture and company owned assets spread throughout the United States under Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Hyatt, and Choice Hotels brands.
