Hotel Capital, LLC is a private equity real estate investment firm that provides debt and equity capital to the hospitality industry. Michael A. Collier

Principal / CEO

Mr. Collier founded Hotel Capital and heads the day-to-day business operations. Over the last decade he has been instrumental in overseeing every advisory transaction and principal investment made. During his career, Mr. Collier has initiated, underwritten, structured and closed on hospitality commercial real estate transactions having an aggregate value over $1 Billion. These transactions included conventional debt placement, equity syndication, bank and borrower advisory, court appointed receivership, installment sales, refinancing transactions, construction loans, SBA 504 loans, mezzanine loans, workouts and discounted first mortgage purchase and sale transactions. Mr. Collier has gained a national reputation among hotel clients for successfully closing transactions others could not and for achieving impressive returns year after year for his investors. The Hotel Capital Private Equity Group was formed by Mr. Collier in 2009 and has invested in over $400 Million worth of assets, with Mr. Collier personally investing his capital alongside the investor base on every transaction.

Mr. Collier is a Certified Commercial Investment Member ("CCIM") and was recognized as one of the nation's "Top Hotel Investment Brokers" by Hotel Business Magazine. Prior to starting his hospitality investment services focus in 2003, Mr. Collier’s experience in the hospitality industry stems from multiple operations and executive positions with the most recent being former Director of Operations for a 22 hotel portfolio in the Midwest. Mr. Collier graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in 1999 (ranked 5th in the US at the time) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing). He was also the IU Athlete of the Year in 1999, 4 Time U.S. National Team Champion & Captain, U.S. National Champion, and 4 Time Big Ten Champion in Platform and Springboard Diving. He and his wife Meegan have four children and live in Windermere, Florida.

Brian Reeve


Mr. Reeve is a CPA with an extensive corporate background of over twenty years in the commercial investment real estate industry. As the Chief Financial Officer for Hotel Capital he is responsible for the finance and accounting functions of the portfolio including debt and equity investment reporting, compliance, cash and treasury management, and overall finance investment structure and strategy. Prior to joining Hotel Capital, Mr. Reeve was the Chief Accounting Officer for HDG Mansur Capital Group where he managed the financial reporting for the world's largest open-ended Shari'ah compliant income fund which was comprised of $680 Million of invested capital and $2.3 Billion of acquired hotel, warehouse, and office properties.

In this position Brian managed the accounting and tax processes for: US, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Jersey, Luxembourg and Dubai for all of the fund’s global real estate assets under management. Prior to his role as CAO for Mansur, Brian was the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for CitiMark Management Company. Prior to CitiMark, Brian was the Controller for Lauth Property Group which is one of Indianapolis’ largest private real estate developers. Brian is a Certified Public Accountant and holds the designation of a Certified Commercial Investment Member. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in 1991.

Jason Clouet

President – Hotel Capital Management

Mr. Clouet has a broad background encompassing over eighteen years in hospitality operations and real estate investment. Previously, Mr.
Clouet worked at Laurus Corporation where he was responsible for sourcing opportunities, raising equity for investments, and structuring joint
venture agreements. Prior to Laurus, Mr. Clouet served as Managing Director of Neptune Hospitality Advisors, where he led the originating, marketing, and structuring $400 million of hospitality real estate transactions, debt and equity placements and business development. Prior to Neptune, Mr. Clouet was President of Allegiance Hospitality Corporation, where he oversaw acquisition, operation, renovation, financing, and
disposition activities for the hotel portfolio and raising equity capital for the firm.

Prior to Allegiance, Mr. Clouet was Vice President of Operations for American Property Management Corporation, where he oversaw and provided direction for the portfolio of properties encompassing over 2,400 hotel rooms and revenues exceeding $120 million. Mr. Clouet began his career in restaurant and hospitality operations with very successful assignments operating large full service hotels. He earned two bachelor’s degrees Florida State University and also holds the designation of Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA).

Jim Richardson

Vice President of Hotel Finance

Jim Richardson is an experienced executive with over 30 years of expertise in the hospitality industry. In his role as Vice President of Hotel Finance, Mr. Richardson will be responsible for the implementation and oversight of the portfolio's accounting procedures and controls.

Prior to joining Hotel Capital, Mr. Richardson spent 14 years with Interstate Hotels & Resorts, most recently as Complex Director of Finance. He was responsible for maintaining control over all aspects of accounting procedures to include profit & loss statements, cash flows, preparation of annual operational budgets, balance sheet reconciliation and the preparation and submission of jurisdictional taxes. Prior to Director of Finance, Mr. Richardson held the positions of Acquisitions Controller, Regional Controller, Director of Operations and General Manager. He and his wife Jill have two daughters and live in the Orlando, FL area.

Tyler Lamm

Regional Director of Operations

Tyler Lamm has over 20 years of serving customers in the hospitality industry with a wide range of experience in
restaurants, culinary, select service & full service hotels. Tyler began his career in food and beverage achieving
top honors as an Executive Chef specializing in French Cuisine and fine dining. Tyler's evolution in the hotel business
brought many new roles including: Executive Chef, Food & Beverage Director, Director of Operations, General Manager,
Corporate Director of Revenue Management and his current role of Regional Director of Operations. The wide range of
positions Tyler has held has allowed him to learn & master every aspect of the hospitality business from front of the
house to back of the house and from direct guest interaction to strategic financial strategies.

Tyler’s responsibilities include: maximizing revenue growth through strategic revenue management and sales &
marketing initiatives, managing operating systems and procedures, maintaining brand standards, quality assurance and
guest satisfaction programs for all managed and asset-managed hotels.

Gina Payne

Vice President of Asset Management

Gina Payne joined the firm with the responsibility as Asset Manager over the investments owned in part or whole by
Hotel Capital, LLC and its affiliated partners. She brings more than 25 years of experience in strategic partnerships
and operations, sales and marketing, product development, revenue management and cost controls. Her expertise is vast
and not only encompasses each division in the hotel industry, but also various market segments, from select service to
destination resorts. She is instrumental in day to day operations, renovations, re-branding and re-purposing, ensuring
desirable results for both investment owners and their hotel guests.

Prior to joining Hotel Capital, Mrs. Payne spent 8 years with the Hyatt Corporation, most recently as Asset Manager.
She was responsible for the profitability and performance of more than 15 full service corporately owned properties with
over $500 Million in annual sales and 7,000 rooms. Prior to Equity Asset Management, she served as a Profit Improvement
Manager for the Chicago based corporate headquarters of Hyatt Hotels. Her studies had a wide range of focus including
Food and Beverage, Sales and Catering, Engineering, Energy Conservation and Rooms Division. Ms. Kevin studied pre-medicine
at Arizona State University. She lives in Indianapolis, where she is involved in community outreach programs, women’s
groups, and her son’s academic and athletic teams.
